What do You See?

I began the practice of reading through the Bible each year starting in 2014.
I have read through it most years.

One thing that has never failed was the realization that God is so deep.
Each reading uncovers mysteries I did not know in the previous reading.

Today I signed up for the Old Testament and New Testament – 365 days Bible reading plan on the YouVersion Bible app.
I read through Genesis 1-3 and I discovered that in Genesis 1:1, God created.

At first the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Between v1 and v2, God had a Vision of what His creation was and the sequence (plan) through which He would create.
I discovered that when we observe creation – take just our body as an example – God created so many systems in it that are intricately linked in sequence.
A system deviation in one system can cause a deviation in all other systems.
There are millions of other species that God created, each with their own systems.

One Bible verse holds so much that only when we are before God, will we know in fullness God’s Grandeur.

I discovered key themes between Genesis 1-3 and Matthew 1

1. Vision – God had The vision of all creation before it ever was
2. Sequence (Plan & Time) – God planned beforehand that He would create in 6 days, with the creations in the previous day setting the foundation of subsequent creations.
3. Light – we need God’s Light to effectively create. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good Gen 1:3
4. God’s Blessing – Man was the only creation God Blessed. Everything God created was for each human to prosper through, to thrive in (have dominion over). Man is the only creation made in God’s Image and likeness. We grow into dominion in our callings so that God’s Kingdom can have dominion in our lives and everyone and everything around us.
5. God’s Warnings are Love’s Protection from harm – And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Gen 2:17
6. God never wanted man to be alone – And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Gen 2:18
7. God enjoys man’s company and man’s ability to duplicate God’s nature through creation – God formed beasts and birds and brought them to man to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
8. There is freedom in being vulnerable in heart before God – And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Gen 2:25
9. Man has a jealous enemy – Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” Gen 3:1
10. Listening to a voice source that is not The Creator (God) leads to shame, isolation from love and toil – Gen 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
11. God always seeks out His Image (man) even when he has made mistakes – Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” Gen 3:9
12. God made a way out of man’s sin –
    Gen 3:15
    And I will put enmity Between you and the woman,
    And between your seed and her Seed;
    He shall bruise your head,
    And you shall bruise His heel.”
    And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21

Jesus is God’s Light for mankind. For you. Do you SEE Jesus? Do you KNOW Jesus? Would you like to KNOW your loving Creator’s Heart for you and disconnect from the deceptive voice of your eternal enemy?

As the year 2025 begins, there is a lot that will happen in its 365 days and in the future that we are unaware of. God promised never to leave you nor forsake you everyday of 2025 and forever. You may have a vision, dreams and goals for this year, but you need THE LIGHT (JESUS) to be successful and prosperous in fulfilling them because you have a jealous enemy who takes pleasure in your failure.
You need JESUS. I need JESUS. We all need JESUS to prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper.

If you keep your heart set on Jesus, You will always be able to SEE what to do next so that you fulfill your God-given Destiny goals in 2025 and beyond.

If you do not know Jesus, He wants to know you. Jesus came to look for you so you could be reconciled back to the Father-Heart of God and never be alone.

Please tell Jesus these words from your heart:
Jesus, I do not know You, but I want to know You. Please come into my heart and live there with me forever so that I can spend the rest of my life knowing You.
